Erin (she/her) brings more than fifteen years of experience representing survivors of domestic violence, supervising legal teams, and advancing access to justice through direct service, policy advocacy, and pro bono partnerships. Throughout her career, she has combined deep expertise in family and matrimonial law with a strong commitment to leadership, mentorship, and strengthening systems that support survivors and the professionals who serve them.

Prior to joining our organization, Erin served as a Supervising Attorney at Sanctuary for Families, where she supervised attorneys and pro bono counsel, managed complex Family Court, Supreme Court, and appellate matters, and provided legal training to attorneys across major law firms and law schools throughout New York. In addition to her litigation practice, she has played a leadership role in advancing the legal response to intimate partner violence through professional education, policy engagement, and collaboration with organizations serving survivors of gender-based violence. She has organized trainings and conferences, contributed to statewide initiatives, and worked to strengthen partnerships between legal services providers and the broader legal community.

Erin’s leadership experience also includes serving as Acting Director and Deputy Director of the Manhattan Family Justice Center within the New York City Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence. In those roles, she oversaw interdisciplinary teams providing legal, advocacy, counseling, and support services while fostering collaboration among government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community partners dedicated to supporting survivors and their families.
