As a Senior Staff Attorney on the Family & Matrimonial law team, Margie (she/her) assesses new clients and provides them with legal consultations and brief services. Margie mentors pro bono attorneys throughout their representation of our clients and also participates in giving Continuing Legal Education trainings, focusing on the various areas of family and matrimonial law practiced by Her Justice. She serves as a regular volunteer at the CLARO clinic run by the Feerick Center for Social Justice and provides limited scope representation in the form of legal consultations and brief services for clients who are being sued for credit card debt.
Prior to this role, Margie served as a Managing Attorney at Her Justice for over 10 years and, in that capacity, she was involved in establishing Her Justice’s presence as an on-site partner at the New York City Family Justice Centers in both Manhattan and the Bronx. Margie now works a part-time schedule. Prior to joining Her Justice, Margie worked as an associate attorney for a solo practitioner focusing on family and matrimonial law and served as an administrative manager at Time Warner prior to attending law school.
She earned her JD at St. John’s University School of Law, and her MBA at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business.
