Family Justice Center Offices
Her Justice is an on-site partner at all five of the City’s Family Justice Centers – in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.
Here we provide immigration services and work with other partner organizations (law enforcement and social services) to provide holistic assistance to abuse survivors in their communities.
Legal Information Guides
Our Legal Information Guides are guides to use when you need to go to Family or Supreme Court without an attorney. They are easy to understand and cover a wide range of family law and divorce issues. They will help you take the first steps to get important legal protections for you and your family.
These guides provide answers to common questions about: divorce, spousal support, orders of protection, child custody and visitation, and child support.
Combatting Cyber Sexual Abuse: A Manual for Advocates
This Manual is a collaboration of gender-based violence advocates and other professionals in New York City who have seen an increase in instances of cyber sexual abuse in our practice and who identified a need for a comprehensive manual for advocates.
This manual does not constitute legal advice. It is intended to provide an overview of both legal and non-legal ways to advocate for clients who have been victims of cyber sexual abuse. It is important to note that both technology and the law in this area are evolving rapidly and so advocates should use this Manual as a foundation only and should always look for updates in statutory and case law when advocating for victims of cyber sexual abuse.
