Jacqueline Perez

Supervising Attorney

As a Supervising Attorney at Her Justice, Jacqueline (she/her) mentors and supports volunteer attorneys representing women in family and matrimonial matters throughout New York City. In her role, she provides legal guidance, training, and case support to help ensure clients receive high quality representation during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, Jacqueline is particularly committed to expanding access to legal services for Spanish speaking clients, who often face additional barriers when seeking legal representation. She also supervises legal interns, helping to train the next generation of public interest attorneys through hands-on mentorship and practical experience. Before joining Her Justice, Jacqueline practiced for five years at a New York City law firm specializing in high-net-worth matrimonial litigation. Her experience included complex divorce, custody, support and equitable distribution matters, providing her with a strong foundation in family law.

Jacqueline earned her JD from Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New York.
