As the Finance Manager, Jalisa (she/her) oversees the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, and financial data management of the organization. Her role focuses on maintaining efficient financial operations, strengthening processes, and supporting the organization’s success through accurate financial oversight and reporting. By ensuring that Her Justice’s day-to-day financial and operational needs are met, Jalisa helps create the stability and support necessary for the staff to remain focused on serving clients.
Prior to joining Her Justice, she spent seven years working in finance for a variety of nonprofit organizations throughout New York. Most notably, she worked at NY Foundling, where she supported programs dedicated to serving children and families.
She holds an A.S. in Business Administration and is passionate about using her financial expertise to support mission-driven organizations and the communities they serve.
