As the Pro Bono Manager, José (he/him) serves as the primary liaison between Her Justice’s partner law firms, managing pro bono recruitment, case placement, partnership development and our CLE program.
As a key figure in the Pro Bono team, José collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to build sustainable strategies to further Her Justice’s mission amidst a changing legal landscape. Jose also leads outreach efforts by presenting Her Justice’s work to current and prospective law firm partners, attending pro bono events, and engaging potential volunteers.
José’s work is central to Her Justice’s mission by aligning clients’ needs with the pro bono interests and capacity of our law firm partners. By connecting clients with committed pro bono attorneys, Jose helps ensure they have access to the legal representation they need.
Prior to joining Her Justice, José worked for a high-end fragrance company. He earned a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College.
