As Program Assistant, Sarah (she/her) supports Her Justice’s legal department with documentation, design, and data visualization. Over the past two years, she has edited and redesigned the Legal Program’s training manuals and client-facing materials to make them clearer and easier to use. Sarah’s design work complements the department’s legal expertise, presenting it clearly without distracting from it. She has also created style guides for external legal documents and templates that simplify presentation preparation. Her work extends Her Justice’s brand across the legal department, helping ensure that every document reflects the organization’s commitment to justice.

Prior to joining Her Justice, Sarah formed part of the editorial department at a fashion magazine where she developed her skills in both print media and digital publishing. She also spent a year as a paralegal at a private practice criminal law firm, where she was able to learn the ins and outs of legal writing by writing briefs, organizing and archiving client files, and designing document templates for the attorneys.

Sarah earned her bachelor’s in English at the University of Texas at Austin, and her master’s in English and American Literature at Boston University.
