Yeymi (she/her) joined Her Justice in Fall 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, grants management, audit preparation, and organizational operations. She has worked closely with executive leadership, boards, and Finance and Audit Committees to strengthen financial oversight, improve organizational decision-making, and support mission driven growth. Most recently, Yeymi served as Senior Director of Finance and Administration at New Yorkers For Children, where she led financial planning and operations across budgeting, multi-year forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, audit and Form 990 preparation, grants compliance, treasury management, IT, and PEO management. She also advised the CEO on key organizational and management matters. Earlier in her career, Yeymi spent more than eight years with the National Urban League, where she advanced from Director to Senior Director and ultimately to Vice President of Budgets & Grants. In that role, she helped oversee a $56 million annual budget and managed more than 100 government-, foundation-, and corporate-funded grants and projects. Her experience also includes financial and operational leadership at F.E.G.S. Health and Human Services and the New York City Office of Management and Budget. Yeymi holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Baruch College.
Fluent in Spanish, she brings deep nonprofit finance expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to strengthening the financial systems and strategies that support Her Justice’s mission and long-term sustainability.
