Her Justice supports VAWA

Her Justice commends the House for passing HR 1585 to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act to provide crucial funding and protections to survivors of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault and dating violence. Many of our immigration clients rely on VAWA as a framework for their future legal status. We call on the Senate to pass the same protections to strengthen support for all survivors. Now is the time for Congressional leadership and unity in demonstrating a commitment to all survivors.
